My name is Francisca Isabel Figueroa - but pretty much everyone calls me Frankie. I’m 29, I grew up in Indianapolis - the oldest of four. I speak Italian and Spanish, (make a mean negroni,) and I have a fluffy little roommate named Clover.

I’m a fine art photographer turned wedding nerd. I’ve been pursuing photography full time since 2017 and enjoying every moment.

Photography as a career has given me the opportunity to connect with so many incredible humans. It creates a window into a persons story, and allows me to bear witness to their milestones. For me, portraiture is more than just taking nice looking pictures. It’s the practice of truly seeing someone, being present with them, meeting them where they are and honouring their intrinsic value.

I believe that Love is the most powerful force in the world. Seriously! And Love’s permutations are endlessly beautiful and fascinating. I’m truly honoured to be given the opportunity to capture these precious, fleeting moments in peoples lives.

My style is timeless, nostalgic, and warm. I focus on facilitating an environment that will allow you and your crew to be your most authentic selves. I want your experience to be as beautiful as the images we create together. My approach is never cookie-cutter because no two people are exactly alike. I will spend time getting to know you, your unique relationships, and make sure that we create memories you will cherish for the rest of your life.

For as long as I can remember I've been making art. Whether it was music, drawing, painting, sculpture, writing, film-making, or eventually photography...I've aways had a hunger to capture that sacred and mysterious essence at the foundation of the human experience.

When I first found a camera in my hands, a light bulb switched on. And I realized that the lens could be a window into someone's story. A way to capture emotions of real people doing real things. It's become my passion and I believe my calling to capture these essential experiences, to create memories that can be shared for generations.

To me, every wedding is a work of art. It demands my absolute presence, so that I can see beauty in every detail.

I loooove to travel. Experiencing new places, and new people has always been a source of inspiration for me. I love to share meals, explore wild places, and celebrate the outdoors with activities like rock climbing, canoeing, and hiking. I love to spend time in my garden. I love live music, art galleries, museums, and movie theatres.

I love spending time with my family and my friends, lazy days, reading by a sunny window or a warm fire. Bike rides, farmer's markets, coffee, grilling outdoors, making music.

I love learning new languages, and having long deep talks. As well as a night out dancing.

Currently the love of my life is my sweet puppy, Clover. She's 11 pounds of energy and cuddles. I am also blessed with ride or die best friends, an amazing family, and three younger brothers who constantly amaze and inspire me.

I grew up in Indianapolis, IN. But I spent most of my young adult years, when I wasn't studying abroad or traveling, in Bloomington, IN a vibrant college town nestled in the hills of southern Indiana. Now I am lucky to call Chicago, IL my home base.
