Evelyn & Micheal’s Engagement Session Among the Wildflowers in Chicago
This gorgeous engagement session was in one of my favorite places in Chicago. The Chicago Botanic Gardens. This stupendous park includes acres and acres of gorgeously landscaped gardens, along with water features, and a wildflower preservation area.
Evelyn and Micheal new they wanted their engagement so be surrounded by flowers. We tossed around a lot of different locations before finally deciding on this one. And we couldn’t have found a more beautiful spot even outside of the city!
We started our session in the wildflower preserve and then made our way through the various gardens, enjoying the roses, the English garden, the bonsai collection, and many other nooks and crannies around the enormous park.
The park does require tickets to enter, but there are economical passes for year long entry, and I couldn’t suggest that more! This is the perfect spot for picnics all spring, summer, and fall.
This was the perfect romantic backdrop. Even on an overcast day, it felt like we were transported out of Chicago and to the English country side.
